Interesting scarring on tree trunk, presumably where a branch was once damaged or removed.

Fun guy!

Noticed this 'Honey fungus' growing on a tree stump, just outside my front door.  I knew it was damp round here.  Will keep an eye on it to see how large it can grow before a neighbour's dog, or some spotty oik, vents their spleen and destroys it!

This was the last photographic workshop of the summer, run on behalf of Bluestreak Arts by local award winning professional photographer Denise Swanson ABIPP. Typically, for our Friday afternoon sessions, it pelted it down with rain leaving little option but to brave the elements camera bag over the shoulder, umbrella in left hand, camera in right!

This was my favourite shot that came out sufficiently sharp, in the dimly lit one-handed conditions, to show here.
