Day 5/365

A significantly brighter day but, alas, not really well enough to get out and about. So, having to resort to indoor still-life. This ornamental glass was shot using only the illumination from some Christmas lights (before they got put away for 50 weeks!).

Weather grotty so decided to leave a few peppers out for a few days to 'age' and make them more interesting photographically - shot with natural light.

Macro work

Another dull and wet day and nothing for it but to hit the 'macro' button and search my flat for interesting subjects. With musical concerts on the horizon (yes, I sing in a choir), I had numerous musical scores to hand and, with my trusty 'choir pencils', decided to set up a 'still life' study, illuminated entirely by daylight coming through my lounge window.
