I started this blog over four years ago (25/9/2008) with the intention of it being a one-a-day, 365 project, and have failed miserably. A lot has happened in those four years - a progression in my disabilities has even further reduced my mobility; an imposed home move from Preston to Chorley (thanks to the housing complex where I lived being declared irreparable and unsafe); and the untimely death of my estranged spouse (aged 49) and further estrangement from my son over 'inheritance issues' following the sale of the home, to name but a few, have all added to my poor mental health.
2013 WILL be a turning point (I have decided!). I am determined that my New Year's resolution will be to break free from depression and rejuvenate my love of photography, even if that means from a wheelchair! This is my 100th post - the next, 101st, should be on 01/01/2013 and will be a new beginning (let's hope).
I will also be 'biting the bullet' and joining the local Photographic Society, where I believe the next meeting is a 'Triptych' hand-in night - never tried my hand at these before but, if I can squeeze enough ink from my printer, am thinking of entering this.....
